listening to Thrice – all albums on repeat. This probably has to do with being super excited for the release of Dustin Kensrue new album coming out October 1st.

watching as much baseball as I can since the season is about to come to an end.

drinking diet coke or green tea 

loving the final days of Summer before its gone.

dancing to Still into You by Paramore (of course when no one is looking)

reading the four gospels- Just beginning to start this and hope to stick with it.

trying to get into a weekly routine with booking, blogging, dry bones marketing, and reading more. I need to get organized folks!

I honestly cannot get enough of this song. (ironic right? haha!)

Do you ever have those times where music/lyrics are the only way to express the place you are currently? This song by Dustin Kensrue is it for me right now.

We live in a society where we are always striving. Striving for that next thing, the next chapter in our lives, our next big break, financial success, relationship status, etc. But none of that matters, its never going to be enough!

However, I also don't believe that we shouldn't be "striving" toward dreams and passions, because God has placed those on our hearts and he wants to give us those things but don't allow that to be all you seek. Because that will NEVER be enough.

"Though all the wealth of men was my to squander and towers of ivory rose beneath my feet. Were palaces of pleasure mine to wander the sum of it would leave me incomplete."

Don't be left incomplete and don't fool yourself that something is going to make you happy and bring you joy. True and lasting joy is only found in Him!

(I am saying this to myself probably more than I am to any of you...)

Come&Live!

Last night we had the opportunity to open up our stage to two Come&Live! Bands; The Walking Tree and Least of These. What a beautiful night!

After just completely being blessed by this evening of worship, I wanted to make sure those of you out in blog land are familiar with Come&Live!, their mission and even more than that, the bands behind C&L!

What is Come&Live! about? (taken directly from their website)

Come&Live! is a 501(c)3 non-profit community dedicated to proclaiming the good news of Jesus.
By joining hands with artists {musicianaries}, we provide them with guidance, direction and accountability to model a life of genuine faith. Our focus is in promoting the only true enduring treasure - loving others and living like JESUS. We choose to share music and profit as a humble example of radical generosity.
